Board

The board at the Royal Danish Academy of Music is responsible for the overall strategic management of RDAM and holds the overarching responsibility for the institution's operations, finances, and development.

The board consists of seven members, including four external members appointed by the Minister of Culture and three internally elected members (a teacher, a technical-administrative staff member, and a student).

The external members of the board have been appointed from September 1, 2023, to January 31, 2028, and the staff representatives have been elected for the same period. The student representative has been elected from September 1, 2023, to January 31, 2026.

The board comprises the following members:

  • Kim Bohr (Chair), Director of DR Concert Hall
  • Eva Frost, CEO of Jazz Denmark
  • Martin Malmgreen, Attorney
  • Thomas Rohde, CEO of MXD – Music Export Denmark
  • Jesper Andersen, Lecturer RDAM (elected by the teaching staff)
  • Frederikke Nymann Hauge, Study Coordinator – RDAM (elected by the technical-administrative staff)
  • Gustav Aske Sønksen, Student – RDAM (on leave) (elected by the students)
  • Freja Rasch Eskildsen, Student – RDAM (elected by the students)
