Concerts at the academy

In the characteristic building designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen, there is music all year round. A large part of the concerts will occur at the academy's buildings which contain no fewer than six concert halls, including the building's landmark, the big, beautiful concert hall with seating for more than a thousand spectators. Here the big orchestral concerts are held, and it is from this scene the students in the advanced postgraduate study programme make their debut concert and start their career. It is also here that the Copenhagen Philharmonic is housed in their winter season.

In addition, the Royal Danish Academy of Music gives a series of concerts at venues around Copenhagen and in collaboration with partners such as the Tivoli Gardens, the Copenhagen Phil, The Royal Theatre, and the city's churches.
