COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are used by almost all websites. Sometimes using cookies is the only way to get a website to do the things that you want.

A cookie is a small text file which is stored on your computer or IT-equipment. Cookies make it possible for the website to recognise your device, and to gather information about the pages and functions that you use in your browser. However, cookies cannot identify who you are, what your name is, where you live, or whether your computer is used by one or several people.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • NET_SessionId: This cookie stems from the platform that dkdm.dk uses and is necessary for the site to function. It is used to separate the user's temporary data
  • SelectedKeywords: This cookie is used in connection with filtering of lists and is necessary for this function
  • SelectedLetter: This cookie is used in connection with filtering of lists and is necessary for this function
  • __utma, __utmb, __utmc, __utmz:  These cookies stem from Google Analytics and are used for the statistics on the traffic on the page, so that we may customise it for the users' needs. We receive information on number of visits, average visit lengths and the activities on the page. Read Google's cookies-policy here.

You have the possibility of using Facebook  to share the contents of  dkdm.dk with others. Facebook uses cookies for this. Read Facebook's cookies-policy here.

Rejecting or deleting cookies

You can reject cookies at any time by changing your browser settings. Access to these the settings depends on what browser you are using. However, setting your browser to reject all cookies might mean that you will be unable to enjoy some functionality, because the website will be unable to store the choices that you make.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not gather personal information if you have not given it to us (by registering for a news letter e.g.) and your personal information will at no point be given or sold to third party.
