Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg
EDUCATION
Educated at DKDM in piano (debut 1987) born 1956 in Copenhagen. After studies at Copenhagen University's Institutes of Natural Sciences and Music Sciences, Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg started at Det kgl. Danish Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with Karen Levinsen. Diploma exam in 1985, and he debuted from the soloist class in 1987, as the first pianist ever with the main emphasis on lied accompaniment. He has supplemented his education with studies in Vienna, and with courses including with the pianists Geoffrey Parsons, Irwin Gage, Roger Vignoles. Ever since her debut, Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg has worked as a repetiteur/accompanist i.a. at the Music Conservatoire in Copenhagen, at the Opera Academy and at the Royal Theatre. In 1996, he was permanently attached to the Royal Danish Academy of Music as a docent, from where he now collaborates intensively with the training of young singers, pianists and orchestra conductors. He has worked in concert contexts with a number of leading Danish singers, Inger Dam Jensen, Morten Frank Larsen, Bo Boje Skovhus, Inga Nielsen, Ulrik Cold, Tuva Semmingsen, Signe Asmussen, Henriette Bonde Hansen, Irene Theorin, Stephen Milling and others, just as he has appeared for DR in several radio and TV broadcasts. The discography includes several CDs with mainly song repertoire for e.g. KontraPunkt and DaCapo. Christen Stubbe Teglbjærg is also a widely used coach and course instructor. He has received several scholarships, e.g. Walther Schröder and the Wife's Legacy and the Bikubenfonden's Chamber Music Award.
EDUCATION
Works as a coach and accompanist for singers.
Teaches pianists and orchestra conductors in vocal coaching.
ARTISTIC PRACTICE
He performs extensive with leading Danish singers and has recorded several CDs as well as participated in a number of radio and TV productions.

DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
Development of digital platforms to support music teaching at conservatoire level, including "Danish Diction in Art Song".
