Book release: A Portrait of Prof. Tim Frederiksen and his method

This little book will contain descriptions and analyses of the chamber music instruction of Tim Frederiksen, professor of viola and chamber music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. 

Prof. Frederiksen has an outstanding track record as one of the world's leading chamber music teachers, having been involved with the training and development of prize-winning ensembles as the Danish String Quartet, Trio Con Brio, Nightingale String Quartet, Trio Vitruvi. and many others. This book will provide an in-depth study of Frederiksen's evidently successful teaching methods. 

The book will include a chapter about Frederiksen's background and earlier career, descriptions of actual lessons with his current students, interviews with former students, and analysis of his pedagogical methodology. 

The project is carried out during 2023-2024, and the book is expected to be published in the autumn of 2024.
