Anne Fontenay is a flute teacher and has more than 20 years of teaching experience from various music schools across the country. Anne is also part of the international flute community www.Fluteplay.ca, which aims to renew flute pedagogy so that it suits today's children and young people.

The basis of Anne's professional work is the teaching of children and young people, as well as developing the pedagogy within music education so that it is updated for today's students. The good experiences you have gained should not be discarded, but you must dare to look forward and be inspired by all the new and exciting things happening in today's children's culture.

In addition to further training as a preschool teacher, Anne is also trained as an art and cultural mediator for children and young people from University College Zealand and has helped to create many different cultural workshops for children and young people, where the focal point has often been music and creativity .

To ensure a good and stable approach to playing the flute, Anne is co-organizer of the Danish Flute Festival, which aims to spread knowledge of the flute throughout the country. The Danish Flute Festival works to create good, meaningful communities where you can meet like-minded people of all ages for, for example, the large flute orchestra or one of the many workshops on offer.

Most recently, the PUV project Molly and Bella has been launched. Together with Marie Hansen, Anne will investigate aesthetic teaching processes with the 4-6 year old children from Jægerhuset (daycare center) in Hørsholm.

In 2019, Anne published "My flute book" - a three-part flute school for very young beginners.

In addition to her work at DKDM, Anne is a flute and preschool teacher at Høje Taastrup Music School.

Anne is educated at Nordjysk Musikkonservatorium in 2001 and College University Zealand in 2016.
