Anton Bruckner was a very religious man and worked as an organist and toured as an organ virtuoso.

The concert presents both original works and transcriptions by Bruckner for brass and organ, as well as works by Rued Langgaard, for whom Bruckner was one of the greats and whose music he tried to spread to his contemporaries.
