Golden Days - in the countryside
RDAM's voice- and instrument students have in collaboration with professor Helene Gjerris chosen pieces that through romantic, abstract, and crooked stories about people, animals, and the changing of the seasons on the countryside and in the landscape give an insight in the composer's and poet's vision of the countryside as a place and as a dream through different historic epocs. The audience will be introduced to the pieces by Helene Gjerris.
Come and listen to Schubert's Hirt auf dem Felsen, Nielsen's Italian Shepherd aria, Prokofjev's The Ugly Duckling, and Zemlinsky's Ländliche Tänze.
Arranged in collaboration with Golden Days.
