Immersive sessions 2

Among the many immersive formats available today, we focus on mixed reality, a technique that blends binaural stereo with speaker-based immersive sound. We have invited an expert in the field to show the similarities and differences. A work using mixed reality will be performed.

Immersive sound, 3D sound, surround sound... All sound is spatial, we perceive sound spatially, and we create and recreate both real and virtual spaces to make room for new artistic impulses. The field is evolving rapidly and almost all musical genres are exploring the artistic possibilities. RDAM has an immersive sound system that is designed to teach immersive sound to future sound masters and composers. RDAM invites you to four immersive sessions where a number of composers and speakers share their artistic experiences within immersive sound.
