Solistrecital
The focus of soloist recitals is on conveying the artistic expression of the music, and there will be experimentation with repertoire selection and concert formats.
On April 20th, you can experience 3 instruments, 2 composers, and 1 host in dialogue with J. S. Bach's music when the solo class students Kaya Kato Møller, Oskar Friis-Hansen, and Sergei Teplyi visit St. John's Church in Nørrebro with the concert 'In Dialogue with Bach'.
The concert intertwines music by Bach and the great organ composer Max Reger with brand new music by composer Gustav Bjerre, written specifically for the concert's three musicians: a violinist, a cellist, and an organist. While the three musicians create a musical dialogue between Bach's, Reger's, and Bjerre's music, host Gustav Aske Sønksen ties the concert together with brief narratives.
