SUNN O))) aka SHOSHIN (初心) DUO

When the American Sunn O))) return to the concert aspect of their work and Copenhagen, it will be in the band's most brutal form.

Sunn O)))'s two notorious cloacked core members and innovator-guitarists: Stephen O'Malley & Greg Anderson aka Shoshin (初心) Duo - will be submerged in deep drones, pipe reinforcement, spectral harmonies, destortion, ancient riffs, and massively heavy structures exposed of rhythm.

Sunn O))) is a concert experience of physical sound, fog, and glacial maximalism - a monumental sound sculpture that no other artist can match.

Sunn O))) celebrate their 25 year anniversary in 2023, since they formed in Seattle and blew up the frames of what heavy metal could include to great inspiration of art and the music scene since. 

THE GRAND CONCERT ORGAN

The evening is initiated by Kali Malone who performs her composition 'The Sacrifical Code' on the academy's concert organ - on of Europe's biggest organs with almost 800 pibes. The concert includes furthermore accompaniment by Stephen O'Malley when the piece requires four hands.

KALI MALONE FROM COLORADO

Malone excels in her work which implements specific voice systems, microtonality, and minimalistic structures, and besides the pibeorgan also implements choir, chamber ensembles, and elctro-acoustic elements.

Kali Malone is from Colorado. She studied electro-acoustic composition. Today she is based in Stockholm and Paris.
