Saturday school for string players
Once again RDAM invites music school students who play string instruments for a musical day at RDAM, where you can get a lesson from one of our teachers and experience a string concert. As always the event is open for students on all levels - if you are a beginner or already have learned a lot.
The Saturday school is being developed and divided into multiple days for specific instruments. This year the Saturday school is, therefor, only for string students. If you play another instrument you can click here (klikke her) to see if there is a Saturday school for your instrument this year.
The Saturday school for strings will this year take place Saturday the 26th of February 2022 from 10 am to 3 pm o'clock. You have the opportunity to get a 20 minute lesson with one of our talented teachers at RDAM, and you can also watch each others lessons, unless the student being tought would not want this. It is a good opportunity to get a lot of inspiration and meet even more children and young people who play the same instrument as you.
The only thing you have to do is prepare a piece of music that you can play for one of our teachers. Please bring a copy of the sheet music for the teacher.
Programme
When you arrive at RDAM we will be ready for you at 09.30 am at the reception on Rosenørns Allé 22, 1970 Frederiksberg. If you do not want to carry your instrumet around, it will be placed in rooms close to where you will have your lesson. More information on that later.
10:00-10:30 am: Studio Hall
Opening of the Saturday school for string students with a welcoming speech, a bit of music, and a warm up without instruments.
10:30 am - 12:00 pm:
Lessons in different rooms
Schedule will be sent out the 21st of February
12:00-12:45 pm: Canteen
Lunch. It is possible to eat your lunch in the canteen. The kitchen is not open, so bring your own lunch or buy some in the stores near by.
12:45-13:10 pm: Studio Hall

Lessons in different rooms

If your lesson is done early you are welcome to go home or to stay and watch other students' lessons.
Registration
Registration through this link: (Tilmeldingen foregår via dette link). Please note that it is only teachers who can register a student. Under e-mail and phone number, please write the teacher's info.
We will try to give a lesson for everyone who would want it, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee it. Therefore, please fill out the registration in order of priority. If students do not want a lesson, please fill them out as "passive" participants in the registration.
Registation deadline is Friday the 11th of February 2022. Monday the 21st of February you will receive a letter from us with information about the time and place of your lesson, as well as practical information.
