RDAM ensemble prizewinner in Italy
Erlendis Quartet awarded 2nd Prize in international chamber music competition
The 5th International Chamber Music Competiton took place in Cremona (Italy). Among 37 ensembles (such as duos, piano trios, string quartets) Erlendis Quartet was the only guitar ensemble. The competition had two rounds and the jury members qualified 12 ensembles to the finals where Erlendis Quarted was awarded 2nd Prize (value of 1200 Euros).
Erlendis Quartet (Anna Chorazyczewska, Adrian Furmankiewicz, Wojciech Jurkiewicz and Karol Mruk) is studying in the special advanced postgraduate programme for ensemble at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under the tutelage of professor Tim Frederiksen and Jesper Sivebæk.
