RDAM tonmeister awarded in Paris
Aleksandra Suchova awarded at the Audio Engineering Society Convention
Today it was announced that RDAM tonmeister student Aleksandra Suchova has won the world wide Audio Engineering Society's student award for the best "Traditional Acoustic Recording". The award was presented at the Audio Engineering Society Convention in Paris. Last year RDAM tonmeister Daniel Davidsen won the AES student award for the best "Traditional Studio Recording".
Aleksandra Suchova was awarded for her recording of flutist Denis Bouriakov playing a transcription of the Mendelssohn violin concerto in e-minor with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra - a production which is also her Master’s project at RDAM. Later this month Aleksandra Suchova will graduate from the Tonmeister Department at RDAM and she will continue to work in her own production company, Baltic Mobile Recordings.
