Eva Steinaa and Bjarke Mogensen
Two RDAM graduates honoured by the Classical Music Reviewers’ Association in Denmark
The two RDAM graduates, Bjarke Mogensen and Eva Steinaa, will receive the Artist Prizes 2016 of the Classical Music Reviewers’ Association in Denmark. The prize ceremony will take place in Tivoli Concert Hall on Saturday 10th June.
The oboist Eva Steinaa (b. 1993) has studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under Joakim Dam Thomsen and Professor Max Artved. In 2013, when she was only 20 years old, she became principal oboe in the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Eva Steinaa will graduate from RDAM's soloist class at a public debut concert on the 26th April 2017.
The accordionist Bjarke Mogensen (b. 1985) has studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under Professor Geir Draugsvoll and James Crabb. Bjarke Mogensen graduated from RDAM's soloist class in 2012. He has premiered a number of pieces by contemporary composers, and with his progressive folk music ensemble “Kottos” he has recently released a new cd. Please read more on bjarkemogensen.dk
