RDAM student selected for The International Rostrum of Composers
The RDAM student Martin Stauning’s work "Verdorrte Räume" has been selected for The International Rostrum of Composers (IRC). IRC is an annual forum organized by the International Music Council where broadcasting representatives from more than thirty national radio networks meet to exchange pieces of contemporary classical music. The selected and recommended works are likely to be broadcast or played in concerts sponsored by the participating networks and hereby reach a big international audience.
Martin Stauning (b. 1982) studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music with Hans Abrahamsen, Bent Sørensen and Niels Rosing-Schow. Martin Stauning will graduate from RDAM's soloist class at a public debut concert in the Academy Concert Hall on 5th October, 2016.
