Pedagogical works for accordeon

As part of the development of the food chain, the accordion needs pedagogical works that can progressively develop the specific techniques of the instrument. These are for example vibrato, toneglissando, Bellows Shake etc. This has of course been implemented in the concert repertoire over the last 50 years, but there is only sporadic material where you can best build the techniques from scratch.

Geir Draugsvoll and Ejnar Kanding have previously collaborated on educational works for accordion, and the collaboration between composer and instrumentalist is invaluable for the result to be as good as possible.

With this PUV project, Kanding and Draugsvoll will seek to develop a logical progression to master these techniques in the best possible way with 4 works that contain relevant instrumental challenges aimed at children and young people from 12-15 years and 15-18 years of age.
