Series of Four #3

Series of Four is a eclectic concert series: we invite musicians who we respect and who move us, and we do not only restrict ourselves to the classical music genre. The Grammy-winning American pianist Brad Mehldau has for a long time been on our radar. He is a living legend, and eventhough he is an educated jazz musician he has always had a rather free relation to the conventions of the jazz world. In his music you will hear elements from artistists such as Radiohead, Paul Simon, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass.
He has also often sunk deep into the classical music. A night with Brad Mehldau is a night with one of the worlds sharpest musicians, an unpredictable night that cannot be reproduced. He has not given a solo piano concert in Copenhage since 2005, so this concert is a unique event.
