Carl Nielsen Talent Prizes 2023
Five RDAM students have received the Carl Nielsen Talent Awards
On 9 June 2023, five RDAM students are awarded talent prizes of DKK 100,000 each: Violinists Gustav Ranum and Clara Glasdam, violist Kirsten Kjær, and cellist Oskar Friis-Hansen (AKELA string quartet), and pianist Jonathan Siahaan.
Every year on Carl Nielsen's birthday, the Carl Nielsen and Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Foundation awards honourary prizes to musicians, composers and sculptors in turn. In addition to the major honours, talent prizes are also awarded to young musicians, composers and sculptors under the age of 35.
