Kalle Hakosalo awarded 1st Prize in Aberdeen
Percussion student won 1st Prize in IPI Marimba Competition
Kalle Hakosalo was awarded 1st Prize in 2018 IPI Marimba Competition in Aberdeen, Scotland. The competition was organized by International Percussion Institute, and it consisted of three rounds. Winning the First Prize means a cash prize of $2,000 Dollars as well as an invitation to perform a recital the next year.
Kalle Hakosalo is a Bachelor Student at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under Professor Gert Mortensen and Johan Bridger.
