Niklas Johansen awarded first prize in Berlin
RDAM student won 1st prize in 2016 Berlin International Guitar Competition
The 26-year-old guitarist Niklas Johansen was awarded 1st prize of the 2016 Berlin International Guitar Competition. Winning the first prize means a Roger Yang guitar (value of 8000 Euro), a recital at the International Guitar Festival Berlin 2018, and member of the jury at the Guitar Competition Berlin 2018.
Niklas Johansen is a student of the advanced postgraduate diploma programme at The Royal Danish Academy of Music where he studies under Associate Professor Jesper Sivebæk.
