NOVO Quartet won prestigious competition

The RDAM string quartet was awarded 1st Prize and 4 Special Prizes in Concours de Geneve

On 29 October 2023, NOVO Quartet was awarded both the 1st Prize and four special prizes (Audience Prize, Young Audience Prize, Student's Prize and Concerts de Jussy Prize) in the prestigious Concours de Geneve International Music Competition.

The prizes of more than DKK 200,000 came with a development programme offering support and career advice. The programme also includes a two-year collaboration with Sartory Artists.

NOVO Quartet consists of violinists Kaya Kato Møller and Nikolai Vasili Nedergaard, violist Daniel Śledziński and cellist Signe Ebstrup Bitsch. The quartet is educated at RDAM and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where they have received chamber music lessons from Professor Tim Frederiksen and Professor Johannes Meissl, respectively.
