Percurama Percussion Ensemble touring in Myanmar
RDAM Percurama Percussion Ensemble was touring in Myanmar during the festival "Gongs and Skins". More than 3,000 people were attending the concert in Yangoon, including the Danish Ambassador John Nielsen. The Danish Embassy supports the festival.
Percurama Percussion Ensemble was performing works by the Danish composer Per Nørgård, music for electronica and percussion, and crossover world music together with a group of dancers and musicians from the Shan Region.
The Percurama Percussion Ensemble consists of percussion students from The Royal Danish Academy of Music and was founded by Professor Gert Mortensen.
