Eszter Haffner has received a mark of honour from the Austrian Republic. The Prize was awarded by the Austrian Ambassador, Mrs. Maria Rotheiser Scotti .

"Das goldene Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um die Republik Österreich" was awarded for Eszter Haffner's artistic work and artistic collaboration between Denmark and Austria.
