RDAM accordion student made her debut in Carnegie Hall
Hanzhi Wang performed in Carnegie Hall (New York) and Kennedy Centre (Washington)
Hanzhi Wang, currently studying accordion in the Advanced Postgraduate (Soloist) Programme under Professor Geir Draugsvoll at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, made her debut in Carnegie Hall’s Zankel Hall in New York, as well as in the Kennedy Centre in Washington.
As last year’s winner of the prestigious Young Concert Artists audition for young soloist of all nationalities and instruments, she was invited to perform the annual Peter Marino Concert in Carnegie Hall. At the concert, she performed works by Sofia Gubaidulina and premiered a new piece by RDAM teacher Martin Lohse. Hanzhi Wang is playing her debut concert from the RDAM soloist class on 5 December 2018.
