Accordionist Radu Ratoi has won the Societa Umanitaria for European conservatoire students

Accordionist Radu Ratoi won the international competition Societa Umanitaria, held in October in Milan. The competition was for both soloists and chamber ensembles in all instrument groups. The participants were selected from European conservatoires as well as South Korea and China. This is the first time a student from RDAM has won the competition and the first time the winner is an accordionist.

Radu Ratoi is studying with Professor Geir Draugsvoll in the Advanced Postgraduate (soloist) Programme at The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
