RDAM student awarded first prize in Shenyang, China
Niklas Johansen won 1st prize in the international guitar competition in Shenyang
RDAM student Niklas Johansen was awarded 1st prize of the 2016 China Shenyang International Guitar Festival. The international guitar competition took place in Shenyang 26-31 July 2016, and this year there were participants from China, Korea, Denmark Germany, Ukraine, Italy, and the United States. The Shenyang Festival is the largest and most important guitar competition in China.
26-year-old Niklas Johansen is a student of the advanced postgraduate diploma programme at The Royal Danish Academy of Music where he studies under Associate Professor Jesper Sivebæk.
