RDAM Students Playing at Global Green Growth Forum
The Music Confucius Institute at The Royal Danish Academy of Music (RDAM) contributed to the music at a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Denmark in the House of Industry on the 21st of October. The dinner took place during the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) hosted at Eigtved's Warehouse on the 21st and 22nd of October.
Highlights from the evening
Trio Amerise a woodwind trio in RDAM's soloist class performed before the dinner.The trio comprising the talented students Ragnhildur Josefsdottir (flute), Morten Sønderskov Jensen (clarinet), and Lucia Amerise (bassoon). Another performance with RDAM's exchange student Kehan Zhang a Chinese violinist from the Central Conservatory of Music Beijing completed this pre-dinner concert. Just before the Prime Minister's speech RDAM's Brass Ensemble played a 3GF fanfare composed by Head of Brass Jesper Juul Windahl.

Among this year's participants was the Prime Minister of Denmark, the Republic of Korea, France and Ethiopia; CEOs of Unilever, TESCO, Maersk Line, IKEA and Veolia Water; Vice Presidents of the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, Nike and Coca Cola Company, along with heads of international organisations and institutions such as the President of the African Development Bank, the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme, and the President of World Resources Institute.
