Crossfire Duo i Beijing

Kvindernes Kampdag 8. marts 2013 blev i Beijing markeret med dansk islæt.

Music Confucius Instituttets kinesiske direktør Jia Jia Qiao og slagtøjsprofessor Gert Mortensen, tilsammen Cross-Fire Duo, var d. 8. marts solister med Beijing Symphony Orchestra under ledelse af Kinas karismatiske og imponerende 84 årige kvindelige dirigent Zheng Xiao Ying.

Koncerten foregik på den internationale Woman's Day 8. marts i det gigantiske koncertkompleks National Center for Performing Arts der både huser opera, ballet, teater og koncertsale. Programsat var naturligvis et værk af en kvindelig komponist: Keiko Abe's Prism Rhapsody for Two Marimbas and Orchestra.
