The programme in singing

You will be trained as a professional singer at the Academy – as a soloist, choral singer, and teacher. Your technical and musical skills and talent will be cultivated by internationally renowned singing teachers with current careers in opera and concert stages the world over.

All students of singing participate in concerts, drama projects and masterclasses throughout their study programmes. Group lessons together with students from the Opera Academy also form part of the singing milieu.

Profession-oriented training

Your training in vocal theory will provide you with important knowledge for teaching, and you will also be trained in coaching with répétiteur, ensemble singing and musical drama. Language courses and elocution lessons will support your principal study training.

Inspiration from guest teachers

The singers' group benefits from a special guest professor scheme. All of the singers in the Master's programme, the Opera Academy and the soloist programme are offered lessons in interpretation by some of the world's leading performers.
