New vice president at RDAM
Torben Puggaard graduated in AM and Music Management from RDAM in 2007 and has spent the past eight years as the head of Helsingør Music School and MGK. He has maintained regular contact with music academy education as an appointed examiner and has also served as a program director at RDAM.
"I am very much looking forward to working with Torben on the leadership and development of RDAM, and I am confident that with his broad experience in both the music industry and the music and cultural school sector, we are gaining a valuable asset who will bring us significant knowledge, ideas, and energy to support the various development initiatives currently underway. A warm welcome!" says Helene Gjerris.
Torben Puggaard himself comments on his appointment:
"First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone for their trust. I am very much looking forward to collaborating with Helene Gjerris, the rest of the leadership team, and all the dedicated students and staff. I am incredibly happy to return to RDAM after many years in the music school and MGK world. RDAM is in an incredibly exciting place right now, with new development initiatives, and I look forward to contributing with the knowledge and perspectives I have gained over the years."
Current vice president Jesper Juul Windahl is eager to pass the baton:
"I welcome Torben and am very pleased and enthusiastic that the position is now being upgraded to full-time, ensuring that RDAM fully benefits from the prorector role."
