Louise McClelland Jacobsen is a Danish/New Zealand soprano born in 1997, currently residing in Copenhagen. She is educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, and is now studying in the two-year soloist class at the Opera Academy. Louise McClelland Jacobsen performed on February 19th at the 'P2 Concert' with her inaugural concert as 'P2 Talent of the Year 2024' alongside Lasse Mauritzen on horn and Zachary Hatcher on harp. The combination of horn, harp, and voice is special, but not without reason. Louise McClelland Jacobsen states: "I want to show that you need to wear many different hats. I like the challenge of trying different concert settings and having the opportunity to explore my musicality, express different things, and meet different audiences."
