RDAM conductor awarded 1st Prize in Jorma Panula Conducting Competition

Nathanaël Iselin has been awarded 1st prize in prestigious international conducting competition

The conductor Nathanaël Iselin has been awarded 1st prize in the prestigious i 8th International Jorma Panula Conducting Competition. The competition took place from 16 - 19 November 2021 in Vaasa, Finland.

Nathanaël Iselin made his debut concert from the RDAM Advanced Postgraduate Diploma (Soloist) Programme, conducting Aarhus Symphony Orchestra in Musikhuset Aarhus, May 2021. He has studied conducting  at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under Professor Michael Schønwandt and Associate Professor Giordano Bellincampi, at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique Paris, and Hochschule der Künste Zürich.

The International Jorma Panula Conducting Competition is among the most prestigious conducting competitions in Europa, and was now arranged for the 8th time in Vaasa. From the very beginning, Jorma Panula has been the Artistic Director and Chairman of the competition, which is held every three years.
