Winners of the RDAM Soloist Competition 2022

Violinist Michael Germer and percussionist Lorenzo Colombo won the RDAM Soloist Competition 2022 and thus get the honour of being soloists with RDAM Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gabriella Teychenné at the RDAM Annual Gala Concert in November 2022.

Michael Germer will be performing Ernest Chausson 'Poème' for violin and orchestra while Lorenzo Colombo will be performing Per Nørgård 'For a Change'.

Both winners are students of the Advanced Postgraduate (Soloist) Diploma Programme. Michael Germer is studying under Professor Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, and Lorenzo Colombo is studiying under Associate Professor Jakob Weber.

The competition was held in 3 rounds, and there were 3 finalists: Michael Germer, violin, Lorenzo Colombo, percussion, and  Kendzsi Tanaka, piano.

The Jury consisted of Uffe Savery, Helene Gjerris, Jens Elvekjær, John Kruse, and Toke Møldrup.
